Considered by many to be the greatest guitarist of all time, in his more than 40-year career Steve Vai has sold more than 15 million records, won three Grammy Awards and recorded with legends such as Frank Zappa, David Lee Roth, Whitesnake and many more. Vai has also taken part in various projects such as G3 (with line-ups that have from time to time included Joe Satriani, John Petrucci, Eric Johnson, Yngwie Malmsteen and Steve Lukather) and the supergroup Generation Axe formed together with Zakk Wylde, Yngwie Malmsteen, Nuno Bettencourt and Tosin Abasi.
